Nvidia Plans $3 Billion Meta Investment as AI Partnership Expands
Meta priced $25 billion in common stock at $625 a share, with the offerings expected to close Oct. 29.

Nvidia plans to invest $3 billion in Meta’s equity offering as the companies expand work on Meta’s Muse AI models and agents, tying a major financing to a broader infrastructure partnership.
Nvidia announced the proposed investment Oct. 26, subject to closing conditions. Meta’s offering names Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom as anchor investors that have indicated interest in up to $5 billion combined. Their indications are nonbinding, and no individual allocations are specified.
Meta priced $25 billion of Class A common stock at $625 a share, up from an initial $22.5 billion target, and plans to issue $12.5 billion in mandatory convertible preferred depositary shares. The offerings are expected to close Oct. 29. A separate $60 billion at-the-market stock-sale program is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027, after Meta’s Class C shares start trading.
The Muse work will optimize training and inference on Nvidia infrastructure, with the goal of improving performance and lowering total ownership costs. Meta also plans broader deployment of Nvidia’s Vera Rubin platform and Vera CPU, plus Spectrum-X Ethernet and BlueField-4 systems.
Muse had more than 10 million users in the United States and Canada in its first weeks. More than 25% of its weekly active users used it for shopping.
