What is Trappola?

♦

For three centuries, Trappola was the card game of Central Europe's coffeehouses and salons. From Venice to Prague, from Vienna to Munich — wherever people gathered to play, Trappola was on the table.

A Stich game played with Italian-suited cards, Trappola rewards sharp observation, careful timing, and the courage to announce your strength. There is no trump suit — every card must be earned.

By the twentieth century, the game had nearly vanished. Trappola Funke brings it back to the table — faithful to the original rules, alive on the modern screen.
