Summary
- Nvidia's RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti GPUs rumored to launch soon.
- Prebuilt listings show RTX 5060 configurations at $1,150 and RTX 5060 Ti configurations at up to $1,500.
- Nvidia has yet to announce the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti.
Nvidia hasn't formally announced the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti yet, but it's somewhat of an open secret that the cards should be on the way soon. The 60-class of GPUs are typically the most popular among gamers, and various rumors point to a launch within the next month or so. Adding more credibility to those rumors is a series of PC listings that went live on Friday with the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti, as spotted by @momomo_us on X (via VideoCardz).
Prebuilt RTX 5060 listings are live now
But they might be taken down soon
At the time of writing, listings are still live for some of these machines. CyberPowerPC has a prebuilt available at Best Buy, which includes the AMD Ryzen 7 8700F, 16GB of memory, and the RTX 5060 for $1,150. Elsewhere, there's the Stormcraft Sirius available at Newegg, which includes a Core i7-14700F, 32GB of memory, and an RTX 5060 Ti for $1,500. The CyberPowerPC machine isn't available, but the Stormcraft Sirius is available through backorder on Newegg, which an estimated ship date of April 25.
These listings confirm a few things about Nvidia's upcoming GPUs. First, the frame buffer. The RTX 5060 will come with 8GB of VRAM according to the Best Buy listing, which runs counter to a previous rumor that Nvidia would up the capacity to 12GB. It also hints at pricing. Rumors suggest Nvidia will follow the previous generation for pricing the 60-class cards this generation. That would mean the RTX 5060 costs $299, the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB costs $399, and the RTX 5060 Ti costs $499. Those numbers and configurations aren't confirmed yet, but the pricing of these prebuilts suggest that those are where prices will land.
Although these listings are showing up now, Nvidia has yet to formally announce the RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti, much less set a release date for the cards. Leakers suggest all three cards will be announced in mid-April, and at least one of them will be released on April 16. That isn't confirmed yet, so it's best to treat that date as a rumor for now.
That date is looking more likely now that we've seen these listings, though. Nvidia announced the RTX 5090 down to the RTX 5070 when it first revealed its Blackwell GPUs in January, but we haven't heard about any new cards in the range since then. Given the popularity of this class of graphics card -- 60-class GPUs make up more than 15% of users in the Steam hardware survey and occupy the top three slots -- it shouldn't be long until we learn more directly from Nvidia.
