I wanted to thank everyone who responded to the cry for aid. I talked to
Becky this morning. Mick passed last night around 11:00pm. She said he crossed
very peacefully, one last breath and one last heartbeat and then he was gone.

She is devastated and continues to need the support of strength and energy
to get through the process of loss and the final gifts we provide our loved
ones.
Mick didn't want a funeral and Becky wishes to respect his wishes.
However, I have talked to her about having a celebration of his life, so that
may be happening later.
Thank you all again and know that your efforts are
appreciated.

Cry for Aid!!!!

I received a call from my good friend, Becky Mickler. Some of you may remember her and her husband Mick. They joined CMA when I was the director many years ago. Mick has a form of M.D. and was one of the first CMA members who came to events in his supped up wheel chair. After his retirement from Texas Rehab, he founded an agency to educate people to be advocates for the disabled and has served the community for many years.
Becky called to tell me that Mick has had a massive heart attack, and is not doing well. He has been placed in the Critical Care Unit of the Austin Heart Hospital. Surgery was attempted and because of his unique anatomy, it is impossible to install a shunt or to do a coronary bypass. After the surgery attempts, Mick went into shock and is in guarded condition.

Becky has asked me to put out a "Cry for Aid" to every group of pagans, moon howlers, healers, wiccans, Reiki practitioners and any other groups I believe would be incline to respond with prayers or healing energy. She is asking for healing energy for Mick and assisting energy for herself when an emphasis on strength, clear vision and emotional support.

I know this community can work miracles by our intent and I ask you to please respond with what energy or supportive thoughts you are able to send.
Thank you for any casting of energy, good healing thought or supportive magick for Mick and Becky's use.

The Kindred was one of my favorite vampire series on TV...heck it was the only real vamp series on prime time...Then Mark Frankel died in a motorcycle accident and they shut down the entire production.
This is the description from Netflix.com:

rule modern-day San Francisco. When cop Frank Kohanek (C. Thomas

Any way...I just read that starting tonight at 6:00pm (CDT) the series will be on the Sci Fi channel.

We received word yesterday that a dear dance friend, and Legend of ME Dance,
Serena Wilson of NY has unexpectedly passed away.

Serena was one of the
Pioneers of ME Dance Art, promoting our dance with integrity and beauty and
providing to so many of us the opportunities we now share with each other.

Our sympathy and condolences to her family and friends as Serena
shimmies her way into the next life.

Almost forgot...

Today we had our phone service changed over to cable, so we have the full
package of TV, internet and phone on Time Warner cable.

Now we are unable to download our email and the phone service is sporadic.
I'm sure it is just a slight adjustment needed...Until then, if you need to get
in touch with us, call the cell phones or post on live journal or my
space.

Yes, this has been a great cascade of goodness.
