Muy bonita, pero lenta al arrancar, consume más que void (aproximadamente el doble en el arranque), cuesta mucho cambiara el idioma de la consola al español. Ventajas: incluye muy pocos programas, lo que evita tener software que no se usa (o molestarme en quitarlo) y permite instalar solo lo que se necesita. La inclusión de pocos programas es algo que se agradece. Por último, ¿no hay comentarios en español?¿ningún español la prueba? Was this review helpful? Just enough installed to get you started and the network is working out of the box so does the sound. It's not minimal in terms of a base iso nor bloat either. It is closer to a minimal KDE or MATE you can find with software premade. It makes use of octoxbps wich is what synaptic is for Devuan (or debian). It has nice theming (catpuccin) and feels snappy. ZSH is the main shell instead of Bash or Dash used by standard void iso. It's for those on a hurry. I.E you want KDE or Mate and you don't have the time to fix sound or network or whatever and search for packages. Install this and you are done. 10/10 for me. Runit is very fast. systemD does not exist thankfully!!! Was this review helpful? Yes No Version: 6.12.58 Rating: 9 Date: 2025-11-21 Votes: 7 My experiences with void in the past were never very positive ?!. This void derivative is a game changer !. The 2 biggest things that were problematic for me were i. xbps ii. Networkmanager This distro deals with both. OctoXBPS installed by default is welcome improvement to learning command line intricacy. It can be installed in vanilla void as well, but the central fact is if i have to go learning tons of new stuff i just move on to another distro. I suppose d77void might do as well. I think before one makes a decision to use any type of void os it might serve to review a tutorial [digital ocean has a good one with ram comparison stats] "What Is Void Linux?" My only previous exposure to musl was with Alpine whose package/network management were also tied to a steep learning curve. I am currently using the Cinnamon version on a Toshiba r850 which may have been a poor choice for window management in that i have some keyboard/mouse issues which someone more knowledgeable in settings could resolve quickly. Perhaps a more important consideration is the installation, which not calamares, but seems to follow that basic template. Since i was replacing an existing install [replacing soplos] i would recommend using gparted or some other method than provided inside void-installer. Was this review helpful?
