A minha classificação para o Linux Lite é de 8,5/10, porque considero que ele consegue equilibrar muito bem simplicidade, estabilidade, desempenho e facilidade de utilização. Não é necessariamente a distribuição mais inovadora ou visualmente impressionante do universo Linux, mas cumpre com excelência aquilo a que se propõe: oferecer uma experiência Linux acessível, leve e funcional.
Um dos seus maiores méritos é a facilidade de adaptação para utilizadores provenientes do Windows. A interface baseada no XFCE é familiar, organizada e relativamente intuitiva, permitindo que mesmo quem possui pouca experiência com Linux consiga começar a trabalhar sem grandes dificuldades. Além disso, o baixo consumo de recursos torna o Linux Lite particularmente interessante para computadores antigos ou com hardware limitado, prolongando a sua utilidade.
Outro ponto positivo é a sua base Ubuntu, que proporciona acesso a um enorme ecossistema de aplicações, documentação, suporte comunitário e ferramentas. Isso reduz consideravelmente as dificuldades de manutenção e resolução de problemas.
Entretanto, não atribuo 10/10 porque ainda existem aspectos que poderiam evoluir. A experiência visual e algumas ferramentas poderiam apresentar maior modernidade e integração. Para utilizadores avançados, interessados em personalização profunda, tecnologias recentes ou na construção de um ambiente totalmente próprio, distribuições como Arch Linux podem oferecer maior liberdade.
Assim, os 8,5/10 representam, para mim, uma avaliação equilibrada: o Linux Lite não pretende ser tudo para todos, mas cumpre muito bem a sua missão. É uma distribuição prática, estável, leve e amigável, especialmente recomendável para quem procura produtividade sem complexidade desnecessária.

Firewall (GUI) is easily accessible on install before touching the Internet. The software manager gives ample access to apps like Bazaar, which I flatpak from. The system needs no tweaking, works perfectly well for anyone moving from Windows. It's lite, everything works. Redshift is installable without using CLI or adding or amending config files. Wine is easily installed to run Windows apps. It also has a great online community with ample online information & instructions to lead you through the install.

Linux Lite has won me over. It's early days, but it's neat and tidy and allows me to do all I currently need to do now, and hopefully into the future.
I wrote a long review but was unable to load it all on. Here were just a few points. Without my full explanations being here it might not make much sense. Nevertheless, I hope you find it useful.
(1) Highlight Firewall to be switched on for those that want this (2) Tick box option for (off / on) Flatpk install (3) State to Remove USB stick on install (newcomers) (4) Keep as an option always to Install without Internet (5) Don't change much. It looks great and works great the way it is (6) Finally, using it with secure boot, perhaps an option in the longer term as well as, maybe, a light immutable system with the option of Flatpak sideloading. Just thoughts.
