Chapter 15.02 CALIFORNIA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE

The California Administrative Code, 2025 Edition (Part 1, Title 24, California Code of Regulations), published by the International Code Council is adopted by reference together with the amendments, additions, deletions, and exceptions set forth in this chapter. A copy of the California Administrative Code shall be available and is open for inspection by the public in the office of the city clerk in the city of Highland and shall be made available for public inspection while this code is in force. The building official is hereby designated as the authority charged with the administration and enforcement of this code.

The purpose of this code is to establish the administrative regulations, procedures, and requirements for the enforcement of structural and safety codes. It provides a framework for the construction industry, detailing requirements for project administration, fees, permits, inspector qualifications, and other administrative processes to ensure building compliance and public safety across the state.
