• Linda would like to change the default identifier quote character in the DatabaseDefinition for the Generic JDBC driver to double-quote instead of back-quote. Neither Linda nor Brian knew why it was set to back-quote, since generic SQL-92 uses double-quote. (MySQL uses back-quote.) Linda will do a bit more investigation, but if she doesn't find any reason not to, she will change the setting.
• Actuate is considering increasing their use of the SQL Query Builder. This is likely to result in the need for fixes and enhancements to the SQB.
• We discussed enablement for newer versions of DB2 in DTP. IBM has up-to-date plugins, but they are com.ibm plugins, not org.eclipse.datatools. Brian can either obtain permission to release them to the community, or create org.eclipse.datatools equivalents.
• The Build team is building DTP 1.11 SR2 (1.11.2). Since there are no 1.12-specific changes yet, the SR2 build is being contributed to Eclipse Luna.
