Group multiple shapes together on a slide.
Path: /slide[N] (parent)
| Property | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
shapes |
(required) | Comma-separated shape indices (1,2,3) or DOM paths (/slide[N]/shape[M], /slide[N]/shape[@id=ID]). Bare numeric indices count ALL top-level frames in z-order — including existing groups, pictures, and charts, not just the <p:sp>-only shape[N] address space. So on a slide tree [group, shapeC, shapeD], shapes=1,2 selects the group + shapeC (z-order positions 1,2), not the two plain shapes. Use explicit @id= paths for an unambiguous target (this also lets you nest a group inside a group). |
