Hua Hin Beach Countdown 2026 will welcome the New Year with a large-scale fireworks display on Hua Hin beach, with more than 2,000 fireworks set to light up the sky at 10pm on 31 December. The free-entry event is expected to draw large crowds to the beachfront in front of InterContinental Hua Hin Resort.
The year-end celebration, titled “Chang Countdown present Hua Hin Beach Countdown 2026,” is organised by Proud Group in partnership with Chang Natural Mineral Water, Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand), Toyota Motor Thailand, Thai Life Insurance, and InterContinental Hua Hin Resort.
Organisers said the event is designed to serve as one of Hua Hin’s main New Year countdown landmarks, offering residents and visitors a central beachfront location to mark the arrival of 2026.
Japanese ‘Candy Collection’ fireworks headline the night
The highlight of Hua Hin Beach Countdown 2026 will be a new fireworks programme imported from Japan under the theme “Candy Collection.” The display will use soft, pastel-inspired colours including pink, blue, purple and yellow, aiming to create a bright and contemporary visual style above the sea.
The fireworks show will last more than 10 minutes and will be synchronised with music and lighting effects. According to organisers, more than 2,000 fireworks will be launched during the display, which is scheduled to begin at 10pm.
Festivities on the beachfront are set to start from early evening, with activities from around 6pm onwards. The beach area in front of the resort will be set up as an informal gathering space, with food and drink zones operating throughout the night, including outlets from Vana Nava Hua Hin.
Admission to the event is free, and the public is invited to attend with family and friends. Organisers said the event aims to provide a safe and accessible New Year celebration by the sea, continuing Hua Hin’s tradition of hosting open-air countdown events on the beachfront.
The Chang Countdown present Hua Hin Beach Countdown 2026 will take place on 31 December 2025 at Hua Hin beach in front of InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, with the main fireworks display starting at 10pm.
