Thailand is mourning the passing of Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati, who died on Thursday night at the age of 47.
The Bureau of the Royal Household announced the news on Friday morning.
Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha, the eldest daughter of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn, had been receiving medical treatment since December 2022 after suffering a heart-related collapse. She had remained in hospital since then.

Known to many in Thailand as Princess Pa, she was widely respected for her public service, legal work and advocacy, including her efforts to support women and people in the justice system.
