This article provides an overview of Azure Health Data Services regional availability of services and features. The availability of Azure Health Data Services services and features can vary by region, including Azure API for FHIR. For example, the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®) may be available in a region, but the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM®) service may not.
For information about general Microsoft product availability, refer to Products available by region.
Important
Azure API for FHIR will be retired on 30 September 2026. Migrate to Azure Health Data Services FHIR service before that date. Due to this retirement, new Azure API for FHIR deployments will be blocked starting from 1 April 2025.
