Curium One [Planetary Transportation Systems]
Curium One is a 12U CubeSat conceived and built by Berlin-based Planetary Transportation Systems in collaboration with the Libre Space Foundation.
The satellite flew on the first launch of Ariane-6. An important technical goal of the project is the first in-orbit demonstration of the cutting-edge SatNOGS-COMMS radio transmitter. Furthermore, the satellite will support the CubeSat and amateur radio communities by testing and creating open-source hardware and software, thereby improving global communication infrastructure and educational possibilities in space technology.
It was launched on the maiden flight of the Ariane-62 launch vehicle.
