DRIMS (Delta Redundant Inertial Measurement System) was the first evaluation flight test of the new DRIMS (Delta Redundant Inertial Measurement System) guidance system for Delta rockets. While on this mission, DIGS guidance system was retained, DRIMS added redundancy on all axes of motion. As it was a test of the DRIMS system, it was considered a piggy-back payload on this flight.
