GLASS

GLASS [NIIPP]

GLASS (Геодезический Лазерный Автономный Сферический Спутник, Geodesic Laser Autonomic Spherical Satellite) is a passive geodetic satellite.

The geodetic laser autonomous spherical satellite consists of 60 prism reflectors installed in a 220 mm diameter glass ball. It can be used to calibrate the quantum-optical stations of the GLONASS segment and solve applied problems of geodesy and geodynamics.
