Hongyun 1 [CASIC]
Hongyun 1 is a prototype satellite for the CASIC's 156 satellite Hongyun broad-band LEO communications constellation.
The first Hongyun satellite was launched on a CZ-11 rocket.
Despite of massive deployment plans, no further launches followed. In 2020, the project was merged with the competing Hongyan to a new mega constellation project called Guowang.
