Huoju 1

Huoju 1 [Huojian Pi]

Huoju 1 is a microsatellite with a microbial growth experiment from startup Huojian Pi (Rocket Pi) developed by Rocket Academy (Taicang) Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd.

The weighs 12.8 kilograms and carries microgravity life science and earth observation payloads. After being launched into orbit, the satellite will conduct the observation of microorganism development under microgravity settings.

This test is primarily designed to determine the effect of the space environment (including microgravity, cosmic radiation, and other factors) on the growth of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria in the intestine.
