Kosmos 2601, ..., 2608

The Russian Kosmos 2601, ..., 2608 are small military satellites, possibly for optical reconnaissance.

No orbital maneuvers have been observed. Radio amateurs reported receiving transmissions from the satellites at frequencies between 430 and 431 MHz. These frequencies were within the 430–440 MHz amateur radio allocation defined by the International Telecommunication Union, but outside the 435–438 MHz sub-band designated specifically for amateur satellite communications.

No other details known so far.
