• Division Two was abandoned. Alsager Technical College, Alsager Town reserves, Bramhall reserves, Kidsgrove Athletic reserves, Linotype reserves, Moulton, Norwes Gas, Radcliffe Junior and Rylands reserves all left the league
• In addition:
• Intex left from Division One
• Knutsford were promoted from Division Two to new single division
• Middlewich Athletic were promoted from Division Two to new single division
• Mirrlees left from Division One
• Newcastle Town were promoted from Division Two to new single division
• Pilkington Recreation [St Helens] were promoted from Division Two to new single division
• Prescot BI reserves left from Division One
• Sandbach Ramblers were promoted from Division Two to new single division
