Comments:The name katophorite was origianlly used for the Fe-dominant member of the katophorite root-name group. The group was redefined in the 2012 amphibole nomenclature and katophorite is now defined as the Mg-Al dominant member of the katophorite root name group. The original katophorite is now named ferro-katophorite. Katophorite with it's post 2012 definition does not occur here.
