Comments:Sarbajna et al. (2000) presents 79 analyses of 8 columbite-tantalite specimens and show that they are heavily zoned, with both Fe/Mn and Nb/Ta dominant zones. Their results indicate that columbite-(Fe) is the dominant mineral in this group with 62 of 79 analyses, 4 analyses corresponds to columbite-(Mn), 4 analyses corresponds to tantalite-(Mn) and 9 analyses corresponds to tantalite-(Fe).
