Comments:It is pertinent to mention that although wagnerite is a rare mineral, neither the wagnerite nor the corundum, which also occurs at this
locality, can be regarded as having special museum or
specimen value. These minerals are minor constituents of
a metamorphic rock and, as such, are important to the geo-
logist as unusual mineral phases in an uncommon meta-
morphic assemblage rather than to a mineral collector.
