Ferro-pargasite from
Manuel-Mercedes open pit, Cala Mines, Cala, Huelva, Andalusia, Spain

Locality type:Pit
Classification
Species:Ferro-pargasite

Comments:Recent analysis (XRD) have confirmed again the presence of ferropargasite in this locality (green sprays as seen in the pictures). It must be said that there is no a complete certainty because with complex amphiboles like these further analysis would be neccessary (Polarised-light microscopy and EPMA). Analysis made by Juan Miguel JimÃĐnez (see http://www.foro-minerales.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=77451)
