Comments:Breithaupt(1827)first named it as Tesseralkies but the properties was described under the heading Hartkobaltkies". Scheerer (1837) introduced the name Arsenik-Koboltkiis", Hausmann (1847)as "Hartkobalterze", Nicol (1849) it as "Modumite", and Haidinger described it as "skutterudite".
