Comments:The "citrine" colored portions of ametrine are colored by inclusions of iron oxides/hydroxides, hence it is different from other natural citrine. Some authors would not call it citrine in the strict sense. However, it is correct to say that the mine produces citrine, as this is the name of the gem material "citrine".
