| Comments: | Jonsson (1996) says "In most of the investigated specimens, prismatine is intimately intergrown in a medium- to coarse-grained white or colourless to light tan mass mainly composed of subhedral sheaves of white enstatite, white, sheafy talc and a light brownish phlogopitic mica. Dravite, quartz and plagioclase occur as slightly less common constituents of this assemblage. In some samples, a disequilibrium texture with prismatine being rimmed by dravite is apparent In most samples, however, dravite occurs as either disparate euhedral crystals, or as anhedral, blebby inclusions in kornerupine." | |
