Synonym:
A synonym of Aeschynite-(Y)
Recognised in 2025 as being identical to aeschynite-(Y) as part of a new nomenclature scheme for the aeschynite group (IMA Newsletter 85).

Originally thought to be the Nb analogue of Aeschynite-(Y).

Compare the chemically very similar Euxenite-(Y) which has different space-group symmetry. Compare also Fergusonite-(Y).
