Formula:
(Ca,Mg,Fe)2(Ti,Al,Fe)2(Si,Fe)2O9 ?
Formula calculated by Ł.K.
Compositionally similar to schorlomite. The second reported analysis possibly corresponds to (Ca,Fe)4(Ti,Fe,Al)2(Si,Fe)3O14 phase. Both analyses can't be calculated to fit to garnet stoichiometry and rather correspond to two different substances.
Found in a rather unusual environment, namely within a septa of reef coral replacing rhönite, associated with fassaite and melilite.
