Formula:
PbBi4Te3S
One of 5 similar species co-described, the other 4 being UM1995-25-S:BiPbTe, UM1995-26-S:BiPbTe, UM1995-27-S:BiPbTe, and UM1995-28-S:BiPbTe.

Found in form of lamellar grains, up to 3 x 3 x 1 mm size, either in (1) galena, or (2) intergrown with tetradymite, gold, and pyrrhotite. Optically similar to tetradymite and aleksite.

Electron microprobe analysis results (wt.%, mean of 2): Bi 56.10, Pb
13.95, Ag 0.11, Sb 0.08, Te 25.71, S 2.07, sum 98.02. This corresponds to Pb1.00Ag0.01Bi4.01Sb0.01Te3.01S0.96.
The simplified formula is not charge-balanced if Te is assumed to be divalent; however, it is when Te would be tetravalent.
