UM1997-40-S:CuFeIrNiOsRh

Invalid as an unnamed mineral
This page is currently not sponsored. Click here to sponsor this page.
Formula:
(Fe,Cu,Ni)(Os,Ir,Rh)2S4
Questionable due to low analytical totals (as reported/suggested by Smith & Nickel). May, however, stand for the Os analogue of ferrorhodsite.

A single grain, 1.5 x 4 mm (??) in diameter, wrongly reported as Fe analogue of cuproiridsite.

The electron microprobe data corresponds to (Fe0.48Cu0.35Ni0.16)Σ0.99(Os2.25Ir1.31Rh0.41Pt0.05)Σ2.01S4.
