Formula:
(Cu,Zn,Fe)3.23(As,Sb)0.82S3
simplified as Cu3AsS3
Compositionally close to tennantite, but optically different. Co-described with UM2001-14-S:AsCuSbZn.
Possibly the As analogue of skinnerite (assuming monoclinic symmetry and ideal stoichiometry).
Associates: chlorite group, "sericite", quartz, pyrite, chalcopyrite.
Opaque grains, 2 × 6 μm in size. EPMA data (wt.%):
Cu 52.36
Zn 2.39
Fe 1.78
As 16.64
Sb 0.74
S 27.01
total 100.92
This corresponds to (Cu2.97Zn0.13Fe0.11)Σ3.21(As0.79Sb0.02)Σ0.81S2.98.
