Named for Ramon (Ray) DeMark (b. 1937), an avid New Mexico field collector and finder of the type specimen.
Dimorph of:
Known synthetic analogue. The lower-hydrate counterpart of sidwillite and the monohydrated counterpart of molybdite. Also a higher hydrate compared to tianhuixinite.
