AIRSAT 06 [China Science and Technology Satellite Group]
The AIRSAT-06 (Zhongke 06, also known as Laiwu Yaosheng 1) satellite is part of a series of Chinese commercial remote sensing satellites developed for China Science and Technology Satellite Group Co., Ltd.
The satellite, developed by China Science Satellite and China Science Yaosheng, is equipped with high-resolution optical cameras (better than 1 meter). It will provide remote sensing data for fields like natural resources, agriculture, disaster prevention, water management, and urban planning.
AIRSAT 06 was launched together with AIRSAT 07, which has similar performance but is of a different design.
