CAS 5B

CAS 5B (Chinese Amateur Radio satellite 5B) is a Chinese femtosatellite for amateur radio communication and education.

The satellite features a 90 mm × 80 mm × 50 mm body with body mounted solar cells and a mass of approximately 0.5 kg mass. The only payload is a CW beacon.

CAS 5B will be deployed in orbit by the CAS 5A satellite.

The satellite was originally to be launched in 2018.
