EASAT 2 [AMSAT EA]

EASAT 2 is a picosatellite developed by AMSAT EA. It is built to the 1.5P PocketQube form factor.

Its primary role is to serve as an FM voice repeater and FSK digital data transponder. It also has a CW beacon and a recorded audio message. It carries an experimental payload of basaltic material from Lanzarote, similar to lunar basalts that could be utilized as construction material on the Moon, donated by the CSIC's meteorites and planetary geosciences research group at the Institute of Geosciences, IGEO (CSIC-UCM).
