ERMINAZ 1U, 1V, 1X, 2U, 2V, 2X

ERMINAZ 1 [AMSAT-DL]

ERMINAZ 1U, 1V, 2U, 2V, 2X are picosatellites developed by built by AMSAT-DL. It is built to the 1P PocketQube form factor.

AMSAT-Germany is in charge of the ERMINAZ mission, a syndicated multi-PocketQube mission with seven PocketQubes in total. It also has the launch contract with RFA with assistance from DLR. AMSAT-DL, AMSAT-EA (Spain), ESERO-Germany (Bochum Observatory), and Libre Space Foundation (Greece) are working together on the project. Promoting, expanding, and developing knowledge about amateur radio and space is the goal.

ERMINAZ-1U and ERMINAZ-1V will make telemetry, pictures, and a functional digipeat/store/forward system available to all radio amateurs worldwide. ERMINAZ-1V and ERMINAZ-1U use respectively the VHF amateur satellite band and the UHF amateur satellite.

The design of the ERMINAZ-2U, ERMINAZ-2V, and ERMINAZ-2X PocketQubes is the same as that of the ERMINAZ-1. Promoting, expanding, and developing knowledge about amateur radio and space is the goal. They will provide all radio amateurs around the world with operable digipeats, photos, and telemetry and research data. The VHF amateur satellite band will be used by ERMINAZ-2V and -2X, while the UHF amateur satellite band will be used by ERMINAZ-2U.
