JCSat 15 (JCSat 110A)

JCSat 15 [SS/Loral]

Japan based satellite operator SKY Perfect JSAT selected in April 2014 Space Systems/Loral (SSL) to build the JCSat 15 communications satellite.

The satellite is an all Ku-band comsat, which will replace the aging JCSat 110 (N-Sat 110) satellite at 110 East to provide television broadcasts for pay-television service. Once in service, the satellite will be renamed JCSat 110A

JCSAT-15 is based on the highly reliable SSL-1300 satellite platform that provides the flexibility for a broad range of applications and technology advances. Launched in 2016, the satellite is designed to deliver service for 15 years or more.
