
Meteor-M 3 [VNIIEM]
Meteor-M 3 is the third satellites of the Meteor-M generation of Russian meteorological satellites. Meteor-M 3 will be equipped with a new-generation active phased antenna radar (AFAR) for ocean monitoring in contrast to the Meteor-M 1 and Meteor-M 2 series satellites.
The launch of Meteor-M 3 was pushed beyond 2020 due to lack of funding and was cancelled in May 2019.
