Zhixing 2A [Smart Satellite Technology]
Zhixing 2A, also known as SmartSat X1, is a Chinese X-band SAR earth observation satellite developed by the Chinese Smart Satellite Technology company.
SmartSat-X1 operates in a sun synchronous orbit and is working all-weather. The SAR instrument operates in X-band. It has viewing angles between 15 and 40.
Operation modes:
- Spotlight mode: 0.5 m at 5km swath width (Test Mode)
- Spotlight mode: 1 m at 10 km swath width
- Strip-map mode: 3 m at 15 km swath width
- Scan mode: 15 m at 90 km swath width
