With the thousands of livejournal communities dedicated to penpalling, writing letters, and the like, I was shocked and disappointed to find none expressly created for Christians. After joining one community, I searched through more than sixty entries without finding one mention of God, Jesus, Christianity, or anything (although I did find several "Interests: Paganism" and "Note: I hate having God and beliefs shoved down my throat" etc.) and I wanted that to change.
This community is for people who are interested in sending and receiving letters of encouragement, cards, or random surprises, or for people who are interested in meeting a person(s) for long-term correspondance. It's not limited to Christians (who am I to define someone else's heart?) but I do expect that posts as well as letters glorify God by their content (i.e. not cussing, gossiping, slandering, talking about inappropriate material, etc.).
