He wanted to eat breakfast. I've been exhausted lately and said I wasn't hungry I just wanted to rest.

IF IT WERE ME - I'd get my ass in my car and go to fucking wherever and get breakfast. If I was feeling lovey maybe I'd bring something back to entice my sleeper to join me in my day.

Instead, he waits. It's now 1230 when we leave the house and Panda express doesn't have his favorites ready. He will have to wait even longer.

We're eating, his eye is leaking, he looks sad. I get him to talk briefly. We decide to go to home depot for their sale and essentials I wanted for the garden. He is clingy, ADD as normal for HD, repeated hugs, we head home.

He wants to mow the lawn. I explain for the 5th time that he needs to trim before he mows, it keeps the weeds down, the trimmings get mulched up, we don't look like we live in vietnam in between nice lawn. He says we have 3 weedwackers. I say we have one feild trimmer that works and isn't easy to use because you can't pre-load the line.

Straighting in the garage, moving things, him saying I'm not being nice to him. I am standing in the sun BAKING as he's handing things out to me. I say I'm going to go change. He gives me 'tude, I call him on it. The most silent explosion of all of my rage of being the better person and adult in this relationship happens.
I don't get nasty.
I don't fight dirty.
I don't wound him in the worst ways.
I am not that person anymore. BUT SOME FUCKING DAYS ITS REALLY FUCKING HARD NOT TO BE.

I'm cooling off before I completely change and head out to the garden. Documenting this because I haven't been documenting the other bloodsugar related stupidity for the last month.

Better, so much better. Found out making my own slides is entirely too much work. Making notes and using Gabby (TA) to write them is the way to go.

I'm not going to lie, I regret my decision to some degree because of the amount of work for little pay. I remind myself it's worth it for the discount.

Wellllll, it kind of confirmed what I already knew about SEG in that they don't want to spend money. This translates as hire 2 assholes to write a textbook and one of them to draw the diagrams using a stylus as a buttplug.

My students pitched a fit that they did not get through all the material and they would have a quiz on it tonight. So essentially I went over the entire Friday class (which I did not read-btw) and then quiz them on it. It proved that they exagerated how much material was missed as over half passed. I'm sure from studying and not from me.

Move on to my own lecture, which sucked because the book was written by 2 assholes. It's black and white and there is no teacher's manual according to the teachers. If you did not take this course as a student (I graduated 5 years ago and had a real god damn textbook) you would not know that on these pictures, you are supposed to draw and color.

SEG slides suck and are VERY simple, I'm making my own, it's entirely too much work.

I had a call from the Dean of Education today and she asked how it went and I said not well. The students whining, me being unfamiliar with the layout of the material and that's about it.

It has been far too long. I am remiss. I even meant to start writing again to continue on with the BSOM saga that is my hate/begrudgingly-put-up-with-shit-to-get-what-I-want relationship with the Steiner Education Group, here after referred to as SEG. I'll tag BSOM and SEG to deliniate between student and teachingness.

Not really, I'll be teaching for a minimum of 2 years. Tonight was a challenge and my first night as Oh-ficial teacher. I arrived early because I needed to know how to use the slides available on the AV equipment. Getting tired so I'll bullet and fill in later :)

S.M. shitty re: which class I had. So the Dean of Education berated me asking which class I was with. I arrived at school early to take care of things and verify which class. She says in front of the staff in the teacher's lounge, I might have to send you home, come to my office. She then verifies which class and sends me on my way.

BULLSHIT, It pissed me off enough that I email her direct, I don't CC anyone because this gives her a chance to be a cunt or just a bold faced bitch. I ask her if in the future she feels the need to discipline me, to not do so in front of the staff. She says, she's very sarcastic, didn't mean for it to be taken that way and as I get to know her I'll figure that out.
Riiiiiiight, not my first time at this rodeo.


TA no show - My TA was another instructor that I'm sure was thrown off by the Wed/Fri schedule because of President's day. It's normally m/w, no harm no foul and honestly I feel like I did better with no one there to "watch me".

Beg for help - I beg the other teachers for help in locating the slides needed for this class. They also give me their version of a manual - a student verison with extensive notes.

Check ins on breaks - The other teachers did stop in on breaks to make sure I was ok and no one set the school on fire.

Crack heads talking to themselves - JFC, these two women are so fried they talk to themselves entirely too much and can barely pay attention, do not follow along at all. After the second class that I've had with them at this point I'm making them sit on the outsides, closest to the board and where I can immediately go over and point to where we are at. They hold up the class and the class yells at them. NO SHANKING, unless it's me shanking someone.

Poop-boy - guy from another class I TA-ed has irritable bowel and a host of other body problems. Had to leave early, I can only imagine...

Hung up on Mblex - There will always be one (or more) student(s) hung up on the big test required for being a massage therapist. Has to know will blah be on this test. Will it be phrased in this way. OMFG - just get this in your head first.

Adimit about proxial/distal inferior/supeior - Same student hung up on bug test NEEDS TO KNOW which one of these directions will be on the test OR THEIR LIFE IS OVERRRRRRRRRR. They are really interchangeable except that proximal and distal do not change when the limb is moved.

Liked me but who knows if they learned anything - They did well on the quiz and as of Mon said that anyone else trying to explain things to them confuses them. Go me? Fuck my life?

So, Granny after a veeeery mild stroke was in rehab for 2 weeks and then took a turn for the worse. Transfer to Franklin Square and treatment for a UTI had her more responsive. Now she is comatose and has been moved to Stella Maris Hospice room 508. I haven't been to see her.

Work and School are consuming free time and I have done shit for my practice since I've gotten back from Niagara Falls. Also, I always forget that second "a" in Niagara. I should be wrapping up a 500/750 word essay. Words fail me. I can't organize my thoughts.

Lucy the hedgehog goes in for surgery tomorrow morning. It's to remove as much of her chin tumor as possible. She's lost weight and it's starting to affect her being able to eat. It's recently started to bleed. At some point we have to make a decision so she doesn't starve to death.

Pigs are fine, Ruby ripped a toe-nail but she'll be fine. Princess and Jon went swimming in the pool earlier. Wish I had time to garden - to feed the pigs. Hell, wish I had time to weed whack, I got 20 bags of mulch to get the weeds down with and no time.

Digestive track has been for show lately - bad Hibachi on Thursday fucked my weekend. I took pepto to settle the stomach, but that = not pooping for 2 days then indigestion because shit is literally not moving the way it should.

Sleeping like shit, btw. There is no good rest.

I can't stand being in the room with Jon when he's on the phone and angry. I guess I'm just too sensitive, I get the heebie jeebies and a strong desire to flee. So I put his flip flops on him and put him outside to pace around. Although, it sounds like he's telling his life story now and happy to have someone to listen. I'm sorry USAA for having a lonely cheapskate call.
