Ancient Isles is here for anyone from the United Kingdom who has an interest in Faeries, folklore, and mythology and who wants to meet like-minded people. The UK is full of tales of the Fair Folk, and the belief in them exists to this day.
~*~ Why ~*~
It'd been noted that there are no specific communities or websites dedicated to faery lovers and faery people in the United Kingdom ~ this is where Ancient Isles comes in. Primarily this community is to put people in touch with each other and to network. Posts can include, but are not limited to ~ interesting faery places, sightings, events, shops, musicians, and artists…
Membership is open to anyone, but please remember it is specifically the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland and surrounding Islands) we're dealing with.
