Seems that there's no A-Kon community, so I'm hoping this works as the next best thing?

Not sure what the odds are on this, but at A-Kon each year there's a card/tabletop games booth outside the dealer's room (by the windows, opposite the food stand). Each year they do a raffle, you pick out a dice, and the dice has a neat "A-Kon ##" logo on it.

Well, it seems I don't have A-Kon 18's dice.

Would anyone happen to have one, or a dice from anything pre-A-Kon 17? I can pay (the raffle price of $1) or trade a spare (2 extra from 19, 2 from 20, 4 from 21, 2 from 22).

Hey guys its almost a-fest again this year :)!!! How time flies right?... Before you know it you'll be 50 O.o... lets not think about that atm, looking forward to the concerts (again) this year :DDDD hope everyone's going!!! Tell me what you guys are looking forward to this year or what your cosplaying ;D, as for me idk yet O.O... even though its like in a month >.> But I'll figure something out!

Its a on such short notice, but Im in need of a place to crash, Id like to be there all days and try to save fuel from the commute from Southfork Ranch.

I have just been informed tonight that the room-spot I thought I had, I don't. So after asking everyone I can reach, I awkwardly and extremely humbly ask if anyone in this community knows of even a spot on a hotel room floor for a friendly stranger to sleep. I do have money to pay into a share of a room, just no room or people to share with. I don't expect much help this close to the convention, I know how weird and potentially dangerous it might be, but I'm asking anyways.

I have a question regarding volunteer work for this years animefest. Is it possible to apply here since this journal is run by the animefest staff?

A-Kon has come and gone, and now I have the next con to look forward to.

But, I was wondering something about hotel.
I've never stayed at the hotel for A-fest and was wondering what people would reccomend as staying nights.
I did a check through the website, and somehow Thursday night winds up costing more than the other three nights (staying Thursday through Monday)
Is it just as good to stay from Friday through Monday?

Which also brings up the question, what's the check in/check out times for the hotel?
