Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had fun last night and stayed safe, and I wish you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous 2009! And what better way to kick off a brand new year with a brand new THEME?? Also, this does mean that the song theme has ended, but there will be an opportunity later on to apply for it if you've missed it. You also MUST HAVE A REGULAR STAMP before applying for this theme, although we haven't had a problem with this yet so I'm sure it won't be a big issue.

Hello darlings! I'm starting the new theme a few days early this time, because come Monday I'll be very busy studying for finals and getting ready for the end of the semester, so I'm putting it up now while I still have time! I probably won't be on as often, but I'll still be stamping you and keeping things run as smoothly as possible. So, without further ado, here's the Song theme!!!

Hello everyone! It just dawned on me today that this is the last full week in November, so I decided it's time for a new theme poll!



I'd like to say that the poll will end at the end of the week and a new theme will be up shortly after that, but I have finals coming up in about two weeks and I just don't know if I'll have the time. Also, our wonderful resident stamp maker, disneygirl89 will be out of town, so unless someone else volunteers to make stamps (because my graphic-making skills are minimal, to say the least) then we won't have stamps for a few weeks anyway. So until then, keep voting on applications, vote on the poll and don't be afraid to submit a matchmaking application if you haven't already done that!

Also, it might be a good idea for you to read the rules again because they've been tweaked a little bit, and there might be some handy information on there for some of you in case you have any questions. ;)

Hello everyone! This month we will be having a new Matchmaker theme (since that was the one that won in the poll)! Unfortunately this means that you will no longer be able to apply for the dress theme, but don't worry! There will be a time when the dress theme will be open again so you can apply for it then. And as always, you MUST have a regular stamp BEFORE you apply for any themes. So with that said, here is the application (stamps will be coming later) and have fun!

Hey, everyone! We will be starting a new Dress theme for the month of October, since that one won in the polls. You MUST be stamped with a regular stamp in order to apply, and you also must vote for three other applications (either regular ones or themes, it doesn't matter) before you are stamped. Hey, ladies!! I'm not so much angry as I'm just irritated with a lot of things going on right now (like my computer being broken... >_<). Anyway, sweet_elphaba and I are both on the same page here and want to start a new theme!! I know she put a poll up already, and that won't become absolutely obsolete but I just so happened to have thought of a BUNCH of theme ideas last night while I was trying to fall asleep, so I'm including them in a brand new one! The poll will probably close sometime on Friday, and hopefully the theme will be up sometime this weekend (I'll make the application this time :D ). I DO need someone to make some stamps though, so just drop a comment or whatever and we'll talk after the theme is decided. :D Thanks mucho!





Okay... I thought I had more ideas but I can't remember them anymore. :\ ANYWAY, please vote!! And speaking of voting, everyone has been stamped thus far (although I wish they had gotten more votes...). Unfortunately we've now instated a voting policy- for any future applications you may submit, you MUST vote (and provide the links for) at least three other applications. If there are none needing votes when you submit yours, then I'll ask that you PLEASE vote on others as they come in. The community won't work without your help! Also, just note that failure to vote on other applications means that you WILL NOT get stamped, whether it's on the regular application or for any themes we might have. I really hate to do this, but I'm afraid it's the only way this will work.

Oh! And one final question for you all. I'm pretty sure that there aren't many of you who have seen ALL of Audrey Hepburn's movies (I know I sure haven't) and that might make it harder to vote accurately for some people. I am willing to write some brief character biographies if you think that will help, so PLEASE let me know if you'd like that and would motivate you to vote more often. Thank you!
