Flemming Larsen strongly opposes the “Defund the Police” movement supported by Democrats and will be an ally to local police officers. While Dina Titus has voted for onerous new regulations on local police departments that compromise officer safety and their ability to do the job, Flemming will be an ally to the men and women of law enforcement.

Secure the Border: Ending the Reign of Cartels, Coyotes, and Drug Dealers

Thanks to Dina Titus’s votes, over 300 Americans die every day from Chinese-made fentanyl that floods across our open southern border. Dangerous cartels infiltrate our neighborhoods and coyotes bring across millions of illegal aliens who do not belong here. Education

While Dina Titus is beholden to the radical teachers union, Flemming Larsen is on the side of parents and children. He believes that education dollars should follow the student, not the bureaucracy, and will introduce legislation that requires any state accepting federal education funding to allow parents to choose the best school for their children.

Parental Rights

Dina Titus voted against the Parental Bill of Rights that would allow parents to simply be informed of their kids’ curriculum in public schools and to be notified of any medical treatment the school administered to their children by school employees. Flemming Larsen knows that you do not get between a parent and their child and will support strong parental rights laws.

Term Limits: Restoring Citizen Legislators

Dina Titus was first elected in 1988. We need term limits to return us to the founders vision of a citizen legislature that’s of the people, not of the swamp. Flemming Larsen has promised to sponsor legislation that limits politicians’ time in office. Goodbye to career politicians.

Healthcare Crisis: Expand Access and Limit Costs

Dina Titus voted for Obamacare based on the lie that we could keep our plan and doctor if we wanted to. Flemming Larsen supports expanding access by allowing individuals and businesses to buy health insurance across state lines. He will also work to bring costs down by voting for badly-needed tort reform to stop the frivolous lawsuits that drive up the cost of medicine for everyone. Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I came to Nevada with my wife and children to get away from government overreach in California in 2013. Nevada was the place they could call home with its clean and safe neighborhoods. My parents emigrated to America from their home country of Denmark. Once they arrived in California, they opened a small butcher shop, then, soon after, they earned their US citizenship. Their small butcher shop was my second home as his parents tirelessly worked to accomplish the American Dream. I was taught the importance of hard work and the value of never giving up on your dreams.

I started to work full-time when I was just 15 years old at my parents' butcher shop where I learned to become a butcher; I did this while attending school. As an adult in my early 20’s I changed career paths and decided to open a restaurant. At the time I had no idea that this would become the first of many.

Today my wife of 24 years and I have raised three sons together, and we own and operate a chain of successful restaurants.

I know that Nevada was built by Americans who believe in hard work and integrity. We need to bring these values back to Nevada. As a successful business owner in the hospitality and restaurant industry, I understand what it takes to tackle the challenges facing our great state. My 30+ years of business experience have prepared me to serve this community and to be your voice in Washington DC.

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

School Choice: Our children is the foundation of our future. Parents must be allowed to choose the best school for their children and allow the money to follow the child. The Clark County School District has become too big manage effectively. The current system must be reorganized into smaller districts. This will reduce bureaucracy and increase accountability of school boards. An efficiently managed school system will allow for smaller class sizes and attract and retain competent teachers. Parents and teachers will lead the way and do what's best for our children.
Enhance Public Safety: I support our police. Defend the police NOT defund the police. One of the reasons my family and I moved to Nevada is because we enjoy the quality of life Nevada affords us. I will ensure our first responders have the necessary tools to protect us and do their job safely. We will invest in technology to fight crime more effectively. We will promote community-based organizations that help prevent crime. We will deal with addiction and mental health issues through enhanced education and increased recovery resources. We will combat human trafficking through community awareness and support for organizations established to prevent it.
Gain Control of Taxes & Spending: Taxes and government spending have a huge impact on our daily life. Every tax hike and budget increase results in less money in the pockets of Nevadans to pursue their own financial goals. I will restore fiscal accountability and oversight of our tax dollars. This means cutting wasteful spending and trimming bloated budgets instead of raising or creating more taxes. Reduce frivolous spending and ensure that funds are properly allocated to healthcare, schools, and safety. I will support getting rid of the unfair commerce tax.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Oppose Government Overreach: It's quite apparent in the last two years that our governor has too much power with the use of “Emergency Power.” We need to give the power back to the people and eliminate the endless amount of power the governor has over our affairs. Whether the governor is republican or democrat, the legislature needs to vote on an extension of this emergency power. Government overreach and control have crippled many businesses and shut down schools for way too long.
