Not sure if anyone is still watching this community, but I figured it couldn't hurt to check...

My mom is looking to find a new home for her collection of fabric scraps. The collection is quite large, but the scraps all pretty small in size. (She used to do applique.) It's also a complete mix of fibers, fabrics, textures, and weights.

She took a photo so you could get a sense of the size of the collection. Note the yardstick propped across the center of the shelves for scale.

She says the top 5 shelves are mostly solid colors, while the bottom 5 are prints.

The collection is currently located in Townsend, MA. But I live in North Attleboro, MA. So if you live anywhere along the route (or not too far off of it) between them it's probable that I could drop them off on my way to/from my next visit. (FYI, I usually take 495 to 2 to 13. But I could also do 495 to 119 if that's closer to you. Or maybe even 146 to 190 to divert through the Worcester area.)

Any interest?

Does anyone know of a good source for blank women's long sleeved t-shirts?

For some reason I'm having no luck whatsoever this when I try to do web searches. Practically everything I find is already printed with designs, even though I've put "plain" or "blank" in my searches. And those that are blank? They're not being sold as blank shirts for the buyer to decorate. They're being sold from specialty women's clothing stores that seem to think their brand names are spiffy enough that I should be paying $40 for a plain cotton shirt.

It just really doesn't seem like it should be so hard to find a decent source.

What I'm looking for is 100% cotton (though a small amount of spandex is okay) in a variety of colors (including all the basic rainbow colors), and hopefully some options for neckline (I'd love a V-neck or a deep scoop.)

Anyone got a lead they're willing to share?

I just scored the coolest ceramic cookie jar from Target's "Haunted Heraldry" line - It's a skull wearing a crown. But I don't really care for the gold toned finish, and I'm hoping it will be possible to somehow paint it a different color (I'm thinking shades of black and pewter.)

So, does anyone know if there's any type of paint (I'm hoping spray paint, but brush-on is also an option) that will bond with the slick surface of glazed ceramic?

So here's 2 more cards I made.

Trick or Treat! Its the Halloween spirit!

And... introducing an sneak peek of an unreleased stamp featuring Cuddles Kuma and a Clownkin! Aren't they cute? ^ ^ Turned out as a postcard style card because I printed out the the stamp bigger than planned.

All different papers from Creative Memories, sweets holic tape(matches halloween theme!), scrapbooking glue(though it kinda curls the paper as it dries...i couldn't find the tape-runner), markers I just used Crayola (has a variety of colors/shades).

I have a project in which I need to glue metal foil (very similar to aluminum foil) to itself and an open cell styrofoam ball. I'm at a complete loss what to use. (I don't think white glue will adhere to the foil. But hot glue won't spread enough to cover the ball.)

Anyone have any ideas?

A few months ago I finally opened my Etsy shop. I think it's doing okay, considering how new it is. But now that the warmer weather is finally starting to arrive, lately I've been thinking about whether I would want to try to do a craft show.

So I'm wondering, anyone on this list know of any shows that are good? I'm specifically thinking ones that charge a modest to small table fee. But of course ones that actually bring in people ready to spend money would also be nice.

Annual Plant and Craft Fair
On the Common
Bedford, Massachusetts
Sponsored by the First Parish Church, Unitarian Universalist
May 16, 2009

Since the early 1950's the Plant Fair has been an annual festivity with a wide variety of ornamental and garden plants, music, home-baked goods, refreshments and children's activities. Since 1990, the Fair has expanded to include fine crafts - including woodwork, pottery, weaving, photography, and soap-making. The Fair is centrally located on Routes 4 & 225 (not far from Rt. 128) on the Town Common. Fair admission is free, there is ample free parking, and we will provide excellent regional promotion.

Lately I've been experimenting with using hot glue for things besides sticking things together. In the process of those experiments, I've produced a large pile of hot glue scraps. They don't have anything stuck to them - they're just the glue. They could easily be re-melted and used. So it just seems wasteful to throw them out.

If anyone uses a hot glue pot and would like these scraps, I'd love to try to figure out how to get them to you.
