bene_dictum

Meet the two mods: restless_jedi and duendeoflorien, who searched and scoured LiveJournal for a community specially catered to authors of original fiction and could not find any. So, we made one.

To ensure that the community is not spammed with unwanted material, requests to join the community are moderated. Please do not let this discourage you from joining the community, we want you here! We like that you're even looking at the profile page! If you're not a writer, but would like to watch the community and its authors, feel free to add the group to you f-list, and most of all, read and comment!!

We accept mostly anything here: poetry, erotica (slash, femmeslash, het), essays, original fiction, anything original and of your own thought.

We will have weekly prompts to get your noggin' going (at the suggestion of restless_jedi) so if you're having trouble getting started, those will be available, as well as a list of back-prompts from other weeks. If you have a prompt you wish to use, go ahead and post it! It'll be archived for future reference.

No fandom Why? There are plenty of other communities on Live Journal for authors of fanfiction to post their things and get feedback; this is for original fiction only.

No flames They're rude and not to mention annoying. If you don't like what someone has said/wrote, ignore it, don't harp on it.

If you wish to post anonymously, just let restless_jedi or duendeoflorien know and we'll work things out.

Consider everything that's posted here under a strict copyright law. The things posted here come from the author's own minds and ideas. Please do not take them and fix them to your liking and pass them off as your idea(s). There is no warning for this; when it's posted, it's deleted and you're outta here. That's that.

We cannot stress this enough: no fandom. If we see anything fandom related, you will be notified the first time and the second time, the entry will be deleted. Hopefully that'll be enough for it to not happen a third time.

No spam or unrelated posts; they'll be deleted.

So that's it! Please join and write your little hearts out! Any questions pleeeease feel free to ask!
