This community is all about camping, all over the world. I will mostly focus on California Camping and any other places I happen to camp out. But please contribute your camping tips and locations.
While Burning Man is indeed camping and suggestions and comments are welcome here, you might get more from
burning_man, if you have specific Burning Man issues.
SCA camping tips are welcome as well, but there is also a more specificsca
If you have suggestions for interests, please send them to Iceblink and I will get them in as best as I can. Feel free to send relevant links there as well.
Any information about places you have been, reports (good or bad) on equipments, ideas for cooking, and so forth are encouraged and wanted.
Your posts must be camping related in some way; whether it is camping gear, camping sites, camping classes and so on. Any non-camping related posts will be deleted after 24 hours. I will send a warning to have you explain why this is related to camping.
Pictures should be under and lj-cut to help the bandwidth of users. Links are encouraged and I will start a memory section of various links.
