So, once again, I apologize for the lengthy un-updated period. I hope that all of you that have end of year exams coming up are finding enough time to breathe...it's a stressful time of year. Which is why it's fun to have little fandom news.

So, as all of you may know, the Goblet of Fire trailer has been broadcasted (links can be found at all the biggies...Mugglenet, Veritaserum, The Leaky Cauldron). Now, typically I'm not a fan of the movies. However, I'm a bit excited to see this one...go figure.

Lucky for us, they *appear* to have left in the Ginny-comforts-Ron-after-his-disastrous-Fleur-escapade scene. What does that mean for us H/G shippers? Well, she's getting screen time and Harry interaction. Always good. No word on how they dealt with her and Neville going to the ball, so that's still up in the air...hopefully it's mentioned in the comforting scene.

However, I discourage everyone to think very highly of the trailer and ABC footage. It's still all JUST the movie, and not canon. So, even if they do try and foreshadow H/Hr, we know better. If the H/Hr shippers will use the ammo 'Harry was dancing with Hermione!', we can easily counter back that 'Emma Watson said that she felt like her and Ron were in a relationship' due to the Ball and argument scenes. Thus, Harry is quite open...once he gets over Cho.

;)

Best wishes,

Warning: HBP spoilers

Hello, everyone, and I hope you all had a lovely Easter. I promised I would start paying this little (but growing) community more attention, so here's an update.

As you all should know, the cover art for HPB has been released. More recently, cardboard promotional stand-ups have been set up in select Borders stores. If one looks closely, aside from Harry, Dumbledore, Ron, and Hermione, there is also a red-haired girl. Now, who do you think it might be? Of course, there has been speculation that it might be a young Lily Potter (pensieve), and that it ties together in some way with the Potions book on the UK adult cover. However, I think that it will turn out to be Ginny...and doesn't that give us some nice support, that she obviously has a big enough role coming up to be put in such prominence? (It is thought that the extra art will be put on the back cover or the flaps.) Here it is (look lower right):

I'll be away for a good week and a half, after which I hope to bring this community around full swing. For now, however, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Easter- may you all eat your fill of chocolate (preferably in a library). ;)

Here are just a few H/G Chocolate Lightning avatars- I've been trying to scale down the official picture, but it's been rather messy looking.

Here's the best I've had so far with the original:

See what I mean? It's kind of gross. Here's the official picture, by the way.

That's all for today. We need to get recruiting, mates!

I created this community for everyone's enjoyment of the Harry/Ginny ship. Even if you aren't a die-hard shipper, but kind of support H/G, then you are as welcome as any! Some brief guidelines:

1) There will NOT be any ship bashing. If you don't like this ship, leave. If you don't like other ships, I understand, but please do not rant about it here. This is a friendly, laid back environment. Similarly, please refrain from cursing.

2) Feel free to post any fanart, fanfiction, or news concerning H/G. If you have a chaptered (or one-shot) story archived somewhere and would like members to read and review, feel free to post a link. Be sure, however, to include ratings and themes so no one gets in to something they didn't intend to.

3) This is NOT the place to put, 'OMG, isn't Daniel Radcliffe HOTT?!?!' We are going by canon here, and I would appreciate that discussion of the movies is kept to a minimum.

Feel free to contribute whatever you feel is relevant to the community. This is a place for people to share their feelings on H/G, and to make some acquaintances that feel the same. (If more rules are necessary, I will repost this entry with the updated rules.)
