This community is just beginning. There are rules and a posting format that you must follow:

Rules:

First rule: Read ALL the Rules!
1. You must be over 18 years of age. If you aren't 18, come back later.
2. You must be a Christian. No exceptions. If it is found out that you are not, you will not be allowed to post here.
3. You must be heterosexual only. This is in accordance not with predjudice but with biblical law in both the Old and New Testament.
4. Do not harass any users. If a user on this site declares that they do not want you to comment on their posts, that's what you do. Respect each other.
5. Oh, and uh... You must be single. Yeah.
6. Your first post in the community needs to be in First Post Form! *trumpet fanfare*
7. As the community grows in users, I will make more posts show on the page at once. For now as there are few users, before posting the inital form more than once, please wait for a minimum of 40 posts before your intro post can be repeated. As long as you haven't found anyone to get to know really well as a friend, you are allowed to post the form again - with other information, if you like.
8. A clarification regarding friendship: If you find that a user of the same sex has a lot of the same interests as you, by all means, post a comment. Read the next rule to find out how to differentiate:
9. If you are posting to request a friendship only (i.e. Same sex person who seems really interesting, or you already have someone on LJ of the opposite sense) Your subject line should read: "Request for Friendship Only" or "Friendship Only" and if you are fond of shortforms, "FO"
10. If you are of the opposite sex and are asking in a dating sense - your initial post's Subject line should read "Dating Request" or "DR"
11. If they answer favorably to either of these, both parties should add each other to their LJ Friends. Otherwise, leave them alone, there are other users.
12. If a "dating" relationship is going strong and the user doesn't want any more comments, the users in the relationship should post a new thread nullifying both of their posts. Either user may do so as long as it has been agreed. The "taken" form for that post follows as well.
13. Enjoy!
Please remember that dating as Christians is really about making a friend that can last a lifetime. Keep God's standards in this community, please.

SUMMARY for those of you who didn't quite understand:
1. Post A "First Post" on entering (from the form).
2. Look around for others.
3. To request a friendship, comment with "FO" in Subject line
4. To request a possible dating relationship, comment with "DR: in subject line.
5. To let the community know of formed attachments, post a "taken" post from the form.

On adding yourself to the community, please make yourself a "first post" to introduce yourself

man and woman have now formed an internet dating relationship. If this relationship ends, they will renew their old posts. Please do not post any comments other than FO requests to them.

Every once and awhile I'll post a post to find out who's made friends.
